I began my yoga journey when I was a sophomore at Stony Brook University. Ever since my first class, I got hooked. Yoga became my life. I started practicing 3+ times per week. The yoga studio became my sanctuary, where I could escape the chaos of the modern day world, and show my inner creative side. This summer I decided to finally get my registered yoga teacher 200 hour certification from Pure yoga. This journey enabled me to see a vision. This vision is to show the entire world how yoga can create peace and tranquility in one's everyday life while still improving the physical health of the body through movement.
I did the mentor-ship program in Pure Yoga. In the Mentor-ship program, I studied underneath a top, senior yoga teacher, all while teaching a 12 part hot power community class series. Additionally, I have taught yoga in a multitude of studios/gyms all over NYC and Long Island including LA Fitness, Vigorous Fitness Club, and Crunch Fitness, with a some privates mixed in. I even have experience teaching kids. I teach yoga with the Educational Allaince.
I would love teach you the art and practice of yoga. I guarantee you, yoga will become your new love.
My favorite yoga pose is Sirasana 2, tripod headstand. Tripod headstand was my first inversion that I was able to do. There's nothing more empowering then the sense that the ceiling is the floor and the floor is the ceiling.
